We are delighted to have partnered with World Land Trust, to save, protect and restore critically threatened habitat for wildlife.
Since 1989, WLT has funded the purchase and protection of more than 880,000 acres of tropical forest and other threatened habitats, and has worked with local NGO partners around the world to plant more than 2 million trees.
Supporting wildlife and the natural world is a key part of our mission at Emma J Shipley, and by partnering with World Land Trust, we are directly giving back to the nature and wildlife that has inspired our designs. We want to leave a positive legacy and impact on the natural world, not only for ourselves but for generations to come. Through this partnership, we are helping to preserve and restore critically endangered habitat for wildlife, to allow diverse species to survive and flourish.
We are donating to World Land Trust’s Plant a Tree programme, which funds WLT’s local conservation partners to reforest areas that have been lost in the past, and reconnect fragmented habitat for wildlife. The cost to plant a tree is £5 GBP, and this includes the sapling, land preparation and planting, as well as 3-4 years of maintenance and monitoring to ensure the tree can survive on its own. The programme currently includes projects in Borneo, Ecuador, Brazil and Kenya.
SHOP WORLD LAND TRUST COLLECTIONWe donate one tree for each and every piece sold from our World Land Trust Collection, and we reached our initial goal of planting 2,500 trees! So we have set a new goal of 5,000 trees for wildlife habitat!
