We always recommend purchasing samples of fabrics before going ahead with orders of meterage, to make sure you are completely happy with the fabric and true colour. Samples cannot be returned unless faulty.
As fabrics are cut to order, we do not accept back any fabric orders under 5m in length unless faulty and unprocessed i.e., not cut or treated in any way. If you have cut the fabric, we unfortunately cannot accept returns. We recommend checking all fabric orders before cutting.
Claims will not be accepted for placement of the print on the fabric – we cannot guarantee exactly where your fabric will be cut. However, 1m of fabric will always include at least one full repeat of the design.
Claims will not be accepted for changes in appearance of a fabric after it has been treated, either by spraying or processing of any kind, including flameproofing and stain repellent.
Claims will not be accepted for fading - all fabrics eventually fade.
Claims will not be accepted for residual and atmospheric shrinkage, as this is not the fault of the fabric but due to temperature and humidity changes.
If you think you are eligible for a fabric return you will need to contact info@emmajshipley.com to advise us of your intention to return within 14 days and return the goods within 28 days of receipt.
